Wrap & Sticker Removal Sunshine Coast
Peel it back.
See what's underneath.
Do it carefully.
Full wraps, partial wraps, stickers and decals removed methodically at our Corbould Park studio, with adhesive cleanup included and the paint assessed before and after removal.
The vinyl is only half the story.
Wrap removal is straightforward only when the film, adhesive and paint underneath are all in good condition. Age, UV exposure, previous repairs, repainting and the original installation can completely change how a wrap behaves when it comes off.
Our job is to remove the material methodically while minimising unnecessary stress on the paint, then assess the exposed finish before deciding what comes next.
Honest time estimates. No fake fixed-price promise.
Film condition determines time. Brittle, sun-baked vinyl or heavy adhesive can turn a simple removal into a much larger job, so these are planning guides rather than fixed quotes.
Roofs, bonnets, skirts, accents and other partial coverage.
Complete wraps. Old or degraded film can take substantially longer.
Previous repairs, compromised clear coat, resprays and vinyl that has exceeded its intended service life can all increase removal risk. We flag what we can see before starting, but some underlying issues only become visible once the film moves.
Full wraps. Partial wraps. Stickers and decals.
Full Wrap Removal
Colour-change and printed wraps removed panel by panel, followed by adhesive cleanup and inspection of the exposed paint.
Partial Wrap Removal
Roofs, bonnets, skirts, accent pieces and other isolated vinyl applications removed carefully around adjoining paint and trim.
Stickers & Decals
Dealer graphics, manufacturer stickers, promotional decals and aftermarket graphics removed with residue cleanup included.
Controlled removal. Not brute force.
Heat, angle, film condition and what is happening underneath the vinyl all dictate the approach. We work progressively and stop if the paint starts telling us something is wrong.
- Vehicle and vinyl assessed before work begins
- Controlled heat used to soften film and adhesive
- Plastic removal tools used where needed around paint
- Adhesive residue removed with suitable products
- Paint inspected once exposed
- Correction quoted separately if refinement is beneficial
If the paint starts moving, we stop.
No responsible removal process can guarantee zero paint risk on every wrapped vehicle. If clear coat or paint begins lifting with the vinyl, the cause may include previous repainting, poor paint adhesion, aged clear coat, excessive film age or installation history.
If something unexpected appears, we stop and discuss it with you before progressing. The right outcome is protecting the underlying vehicle, not simply getting every piece of vinyl off at any cost.
Reveal it. Refine it. Protect it.
Once the wrap is gone, the finish may show adhesive shadowing, contamination, oxidation differences, wash marks or defects that were hidden beneath the film. Removal is the natural point to assess the paint before the car is recoated, rewrapped or protected.
Paint Correction
Labocosmetica correction and refinement can restore gloss and reduce correctable defects revealed after removal.

How long does wrap removal take?
Sticker and decal jobs are often around 1–2 hours, partial wraps around 2–4 hours, and full wraps commonly 4–8 hours or more. Old, brittle or heavily sun-damaged film can take substantially longer.
Is adhesive residue removal included?
Yes. Adhesive cleanup forms part of the removal process and is included within the hourly time charged.
Will removal damage my paint?
We use controlled heat, plastic tools and suitable products to minimise risk, but previous repairs, resprays, failing clear coat and film age can all affect how safely the vinyl releases.
What if paint or clear coat starts lifting?
We stop and reassess the area with you rather than continuing blindly.
Can you remove old sun-damaged wrap?
Usually, yes, but UV-degraded vinyl often becomes brittle and removes in small pieces, making the process significantly slower.
Do I need paint correction afterwards?
Not always. Once the film is removed we can assess the exposed finish and recommend correction only if it will genuinely improve the result.
How much does wrap removal cost?
We charge by time because film condition varies dramatically. Call with the vehicle, coverage and approximate age of the wrap and we will provide a realistic estimate before booking.
