A maintenance programme should not clay, polish and chemically strip a well-kept vehicle every time it comes through the door. That is unnecessary work and, on a protected vehicle, can be counterproductive.

Our approach is condition-based. We use safe wash methods, controlled interior care and coating-compatible products, then step up to decontamination or a protection refresh only when the vehicle actually needs it.

The result: less unnecessary intervention, more consistency, and a vehicle that stays easier to own.

Safe wash first

Pre-wash, contact wash and drying methods designed to reduce unnecessary marring and keep the finish controlled.

Condition-based care

Iron removal, decontamination and maintenance products are used when required, not automatically on every visit.

Protection-aware

Coated cars are maintained as coated cars. We do not simply layer generic sealant over a ceramic coating because it is on a checklist.

Maintenance pricing only works when the vehicle begins in a known condition. Existing QD clients can usually move straight onto a plan. New clients may need an initial service first.

The quarterly visit is designed to restore the maintenance standard, not perform unnecessary correction or heavy restoration work.

Very large vehicles: American trucks, heavily modified vehicles and unusually large 4WDs are quoted individually so the plan remains realistic for the time required.

Plan conditions

Simple rules.
No wash-club nonsense.

This is recurring professional care, not an unlimited subscription. The vehicle, schedule and service standard stay clearly defined.

One nominated vehicle

Plan pricing applies to the vehicle enrolled in the programme and is based on its size and normal condition.

Fair condition

Heavy mud, sand, pet hair, spills or unusual contamination may require additional work. We quote it before starting.

48 hour changes

Plans can be paused or cancelled, but scheduled appointments changed inside 48 hours remain subject to our normal cancellation policy.

Card on file

Recurring visits are billed through Square after the scheduled service. There is no separate setup fee.

No. Existing clients can usually move straight onto maintenance if we know the vehicle is in suitable condition. New clients may need an initial Revitalise, Deep Interior or protection service first so the plan begins from a proper baseline.

Because it is not automatically necessary. Maintenance should be based on the condition of the paint and protection system. We use chemical decontamination, clay and stronger processes when they are justified rather than treating them as routine wash steps.

Yes. There is no long-term lock-in. Give us at least 48 hours notice before a scheduled appointment to pause, move or cancel it. Changes inside 48 hours remain subject to Quantum Detail's normal cancellation policy.

If the vehicle needs significantly more work because of heavy mud, pet hair, sand, spills or similar contamination, we will assess it and confirm any additional cost before starting.

Yes. In fact, consistent maintenance is one of the best ways to keep a coated vehicle performing well. We use coating-compatible wash and maintenance processes and assess whether any maintenance treatment is actually required.
