All removal work is performed at our Corbould Park studio using heat guns, plastic tools and adhesive removers that are safe on clear coat and paint. Adhesive residue removal is included in our hourly rate — there are no hidden extras for glue cleanup. We work methodically panel by panel and give you an honest estimate before we start.

How We Do It Safely

Wrap removal done incorrectly causes more damage than the wrap itself. Our process is methodical, patient and paint-safe.

Restore the Finish with Paint Correction

Wraps protect paint from UV but they also trap contaminants — and years under a wrap can leave paintwork looking dull, marked or uneven. Paint correction is the ideal follow-on service after wrap removal to bring the finish back to its best before ceramic coating, AG Formula 1051 or a new wrap.

• How long does wrap removal take?+
  It depends on the size of the job. Sticker and decal removal typically takes 1 to 2 hours. Partial wraps are usually 2 to 4 hours. Full wraps can take anywhere from 4 to 8 hours depending on the age and condition of the vinyl and how it was originally applied. We'll give you an honest estimate before we start.
• Is adhesive residue removal included?+
  Yes — adhesive residue removal is included in our hourly rate across every service. There are no hidden extras for glue cleanup. When we hand your car back, the panels are clean.
• Will removal damage my paint?+
  When done correctly, no. We use heat guns, plastic tools and paint-safe adhesive removers — nothing that contacts your clear coat with metal. The risk of damage comes from the condition of the paint underneath the wrap, not from the removal process itself. Older vehicles with compromised clear coat carry a higher risk of lifting, which we'll flag before we start.
• What if the clear coat lifts during removal?+
  Clear coat lifting during removal is caused by the condition of the paint underneath — not by our removal technique. It happens when the clear coat has already delaminated or is heavily degraded. We'll discuss this risk with you before we start, particularly on older vehicles or wraps that have been on for many years. If we spot any concerns during assessment we'll tell you upfront.
• My wrap is old and sun damaged — can you still remove it?+
  Yes, but older and sun-damaged wraps are more difficult to remove and tend to take longer. UV degraded vinyl becomes brittle and breaks into small pieces rather than pulling off in long strips, which significantly increases removal time. We'll assess the condition first and give you an honest estimate before committing to a timeframe.
• Do I need paint correction after wrap removal?+
  Not always — but it depends on what the paint looks like underneath. Wraps protect against UV but can trap contaminants. After several years under a wrap, paint often looks dull or uneven compared to the areas that were exposed. A single stage polish is usually enough to even things out. We'll let you know what we recommend after we've removed the wrap and inspected the paint.
• How much does wrap removal cost?+
