AG Formula 1051
AG Formula 1051 is a new generation liquid-applied paint protection coating developed by Avant Guard. It sits in the middle ground between a traditional ceramic coating and full PPF film, offering a significant step up in protection without the cost of true film.
Unlike a standard ceramic, the 1051 chemically bonds to your clear coat and actually builds measurable thickness, around 8 to 15 microns per layer. It self-heals, resists serious abrasion, and delivers mirror-level gloss that has to be seen to be believed. It is also safe for newly painted vehicles.
One of the things that sets the 1051 apart is its versatility. You can apply PPF film over the top of it, or a ceramic coating over the top — meaning it works as a standalone solution or as a foundation for even greater protection down the track.
